The Most Shared Quotes of September 2013 – Part 1

For those of you who don’t sit on Twitter or Facebook all day, every day I figured I would compile a list of the “best-of” from my Twitter and Facebook from the month of September. This will be a two-part series. The first part is here and the second will be posted on Wednesday.

Hope you enjoy these! (Unless otherwise acknowledged these are my statements)

Striving to sin less will not mean you love more, but living in love will mean you sin less.

“The Gospel is so good that even most Christians don’t believe it.” Jordan Orick

The basis of your relationship with God is not how little you sin but how much you choose to receive His love.

I’m not saying our behavior doesn’t need to change. I’m saying the only way to change it is to stop trying and start believing.

“Too many churches have a sin message instead of a Son message” Tim Eldridge

Salvation works by grace through faith – Not by frightening people into getting their act together.

I’ve never met a believer who couldn’t heal the sick. Just those who didn’t believe they could.

Any believer who isn’t walking in the supernatural is settling for less! The supernatural is the believers inheritance.

Jesus hung out with Pharisees too. Don’t abandon those stuck in religious ways. You may win over the next apostle Paul

Apologizing does not always mean you are wrong. It just means that you value your relationships more than your ego.

The Gospel is not just about going up when we die but about bringing Heaven down while we live.

“If you don’t learn to control your thoughts, you will never learn how to control you behavior.” Joyce Meyer

Our job is not to attack false doctrine – our job is to preach a pure doctrine.

“Most people don’t need an evangelist as much as they need a friend.” Daniel Vogler

“Your not having a bad day, your having a bad choice of how you feel about today.” David Wilkerson

It’s typically a better idea to preach what you believe rather than trying to attack what you don’t.

Having a peace that transcends your understanding requires you to be OK living outside your understanding.

Unconditional love is not unconditional approval. God loves us without conditions but doesn’t approve of sinful lifestyle.

“Trust doesn’t mean you think people will never hurt you it means you believe they don’t WANT to hurt you.” Wendy Backlund

“It’s Christ IN you, not Christ INSTEAD of you that’s the hope of glory.” Steve Thompson

It is impossible to exaggerate the goodness of God. It’s a great idea to try though!

It probably goes without saying but if you don’t follow me on Facebook or Twitter and loved these quotes then you should probably do so.
